Kelly Rutherford and her ex-husband Daniel Giersch have settled their messy custody battle.
In paperwork filed in Los Angeles, the former couple has agreed to relocate to New York while Rutherford shoots the TV drama there and they will share joint custody of their two children, according to TMZ.com.
New mum Rutherford, who filed for divorce in December (08), gave birth to the couple's second child, Helena Grace, in June (09).
At the height of the pair's custody battle, Rutherford accused her ex of being "angry" all the time and admitted she had hired a private detective to install cameras in her ex's Los Angeles home - to check on his parenting techniques.
In the midst of the court battle, Rutherford asked a judge to help the parents settle a toilet-training disagreement.
The couple married in August 2006 giving birth to their sone Hermes later that same year. The actress filed for divorce in December 2008 citing irreconcilable differences.
