Katy Perry took to the streets of New York to march at a gay pride rally on Sunday.
The singer took a break from her hit tour, California Dreams toue to participate in the 42nd Annual LGBT Pride March through the streets of Greenwich Village.
Perry took to twitter to post a picture of herself waving rainbow flagsat the event that was held just two days after gay marriage was legalised in the state.
She wrote next to the picture: "We (are) out celebrating EQUALITY FOR ALL!"
The I kissed A Girl hitmaker wasn't the only star at the event - Wonder Woman actress Lynda Carter was also celebrating, as was New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, who signed the historica bill in recognition of same-sex marriages.
