Katherine Heigl has ruled out a stint on the London stage - because the thought of appearing in the West End makes her feel sick.
The Knocked Up star has long harboured ambitions to supplement her movie and TV career with a stage role.
But Heigl isn't confident she could deal with performing in front of live audiences - and the thought petrifies her.
She says, "I'm a big coward and I'm really afraid of live audiences. I used to really want to do stage one day and then the last couple of years I've done some presenting at awards show.
"I was so nervous I thought I was going to be sick, so I don't think me on stage for any length of time would work because I would inevitably throw up, and that would be embarrassing."
The actress was in London this week to promote her new comedy The Ugly Truth, a battle of the sexes film with Gerard Butler.
After making a name for herself in medical drama Grey's Anatomy the actress has had a successful movie career with the likes of Knocked Up and 27 Dresses.
