Justin Timberlake has been called up to help director, Craig Brewer, cast the remake of 80's classic, Footloose.
Brewer employed Timberlake in his 2006 film, Black Snake Moan and turned to him after Zac Efron and Chace Crawford pulled out.
Timberlake, the singer-come-actor, recommended one of his former back-up dancers, Kenny Wormald as Brewer needed a budding star who could dance as Ren McCormack in the remake.
The director told HollyScoop.com: "It was important that we had a new and young and fresh face for McCormack, thats who Kevin Bacon was back in the day, and we spent forever looking."
