Justin Timberlake had me up late last night. I didn’t get to bed until after 2 a.m.Why? Because J.T. threw a killer party at Avalon in Hollywood.Before I give you all the details of who performed and why, you’re not going to believe who showed up-Kevin Federline! Yes, Britney Spears’ ex-husband was not only in the audience but he and Timberlake actually crossed paths. The two bumped into each other on the red carpet. And if they had much to say to each other, it didn't happen last night, because they only managed a quick hello on the carpet. Perhaps Timberlake was rushing to see one of his recent reported paramours...Scarlett Johansson was there.The bash was the launch of JT-TV. Yes, Justin Timberlake television. But don’t run to your TV looking for the channel. It’s actually a mobile channel on V Cast from Verizon Wireless. Timberlake promises a lifestyle network dedicated to music, fashion and travel.The night’s musical guests:
Danity Kane: They were fine, but can any of those young ladies actually hit a note? And what is with their outfits? Just because it’s tight and/or skimpy doesn’t make it sexy. Danity Kane looked more like a ragtag team of streetwalkers.Kenna: I’ll admit it, before last night, I wouldn’t have known this Ethiopian alt-funk guy if he fell on me. But no matter, because his special guest on drums was none other than Justin himself. Who knew J.T. could play drums!Fergie & the Black Eye Peas: There’s a reason Fergie & Co. are loved so much. They put on quite a show and appear to be having a lot of fun doing it. Oh, and can someone give Fergie’s two dancers their own show? Just watching these two women move was worth the night. Think Michael Jackson meets krumping. Timbaland and Nelly Furtado also hit the stage. Like Fergie, their enthusiasm for performing is infectious. Timbaland had everyone on their feet with their hands in the air.

While Justin was onstage plenty of time to join in on the performances or introduce the acts, we didn’t get to hear "SexyBack" until after 1 a.m. No doubt he left everyone wanting more. But I was okay with it, because I knew I’d be seeing him tonight at Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party at the Beverly Hilton.

And leave it to Mr. J.T. to bring out the A-list audience. Among the famous were Naomi Campbell, Sean "Diddy" Combs, T.R. Knight, Tara Reid, Kate Walsh, Sara Ramirez, Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo, Wilmer Valderrama, the Rock, and Kid Rock, among many others.

Petra Nemcova and Grammy nominee James Blunt came together. I thought they had broken up-keeping track of celebrity love is really a full-time job.

Paris Hilton had a front seat in the balcony. She seemed to be more interested in touching up her makeup than in watching the show. Maybe she was just trying her best to avoid contact with an old pal just a few feet away-Cisco Adler, the rocker who used to date Mischa Barton until they apparently broke up because Barton was upset that a full-frontal photo of Cisco ended up on the Internet. Who did the photo belong to? You got it...reportedly it was one of the finds in Ms. Hilton's storage locker.
