Sandra Bullock’s cheating ex-husband Jesse James opens up about the break up in his new memoir, but refuses to talk about the couple’s adopted son as the subject was ‘too intimate’.
The TV mechanic’s infidelity was exposed in March last year, and subsequently the marriage between him and Bullock fell apart.
Just months earlier, the couple decided to start a family by adopting baby Louis from Louisiana. But when news of James’ betrayal broke, Bullock completed the adoption of the tot as a single mother.
Laying bare his troubles in new autobiography ‘American Outlaw’, James comes clean about his affair, taking “full accountability” for his betrayal of Bullock.
In an interview with People Magazine, the father-of-three admits he was emotionally distraught during the breakdown of his marriage to Bullock, but new fiancée Kat Von D is helping him bounce back.
He said: “Everything got ripped to shreds, I was at breaking point. I’m moving forward, thinking clearly and becoming a better person. I have started life over.”
Despite talking openly about his marital difficulties, James wasn’t willing to open up about baby Louis who is now 16 months old.
He said: “Talking about Louis almost felt too intimate. He is so sweet and I miss him.”
