Jennifer Garner hates posing for magazine cover shoots - because matching the beauty standards of waif-like fashion models is "hell on earth".
The 37-year-old Alias star had a rigorous workout regime early in her career, but since having two kids with husband Ben Affleck, she hates showing off her flesh.
Garner says, "When I started (acting) models were on the covers of magazines and actors were actors.
"Then I started and this trend had began where suddenly you're supposed to be on magazine covers, which is hell on earth basically.
"I mean, these girls get paid for a reason. And now they expect actors to look like models and I don't wanna look like a model. I don't want to be a model."
Garner is back on the big screen this week as part of Garry Marshall's emsemble romantic comedy Valentine's Day.
She is also set to star in Jim Field Smith's butter.
