Jennifer Aniston faced her American Idol nightmare on daytime TV in America on Wednesday (16Sep09) when the TV talent show's new judge forced her to sing.
The actress is taking singing lessons for her upcoming role in The Goree Girls, in which she'll play a musical prisoner, and Ellen DeGeneres insisted she show off her skills for her talk show audience.
Red-faced Aniston said, "They promised me you wouldn't do this to me," before singing a section from George Gershwin's I've Got a Crush on You."
The actress then giggled, "I'm absolutely mortified that you did that to me," prompting the new Idol judge to joke, "I would put you through to the next round."
The Goree Girls is just another role that Aniston has got under her belt in what has been a very busy year for the actress.
She found box office success earlier in 2009 as part of the ensemble cast for He's Just Not That Into You and her new movie Love Happens, which she stars in with Aaron Eckhart, is due out in October.
She is currently filming The Bounty with Gerard Butler.
Love Happens is released 9th October.
