Jason Alexander met with the Israel President Shimon Peres to discuss ways to advance peace talks between his nation and the Palestinians.
The Seinfeld actor was invited to the leader's home in Jerusalem, on Tuesday, as a representative for the grassroots group OneVoice, which is committed to aiding the peace process in the Middle East.
And Peres even asked the star for his advice on resolving the complex political situation.
Alexander told him: "The best advice is to not give up. There's been so much disappointment but there are wonderful people that are working very hard within both communities. The whole point of OneVoice is to give voice to the people on both sides and engage them in the process."
Alexander later took to his Twitter page to share wise words from the Israeli president, writing: "Great quote fr. (from) Prez. Peres: optimists and pessimists die the same death but they live very different lives."
