Jane Lynch knew she was gay at 12
Jane Lynch, famed Glee star, realised she was gay when she was just 12-years-old.
The Cheerios coach from the famed show, was married psychologist last year, first revealed the truth about her sexuality when she was 21, but Lynch admits she knew much sooner than this.
Speaking to America's Vogue magazine, Lynch says she 'never felt quite right' as a chilem byt the key moment came to her as a teen as she spied on two boys walking hand in hand on a beach in Florida.
As a conflicted girl Lynch vowed to keep it a secret so as to avoid any problems from her peers.
She adds: "When I grew up... I didn't want to be too tall. I didn't want to be too loud. I didn't want to be gay."
Lynch finally admitted her sexuality to herself and confessed all to her parents after watching comedienne Ellen DeGeneres 'come out' on her hit sitcom.
The actress has always said that her parents have supported her and and her mother even handled her daughter's 2010 gay nuptials with humour telling her: "Well, you're marrying a doctor!"
