The former Frasier star was among the guests at Bertinelli's Malibu, California nuptials - and she wasn't surprised when the 'football party' became so much more.
Leeves insists she still thought she was there for a very special occasion when the hostess-turned-bride appeared 20 minutes before the ceremony started wearing nothing but a bath gown.
She tells news show Extra, "The invitation (said) 'Cocktails - 3 to 4; Special Event - 4.15; Pictures - 4.45...' I'm like, 'She's getting married!'"
Bertinelli exchanged vows with boyfriend Tom Vitale on 1 January (11) at their home.
