Actor Jack Black is hoping his new movie becomes a Broadway musical, as he would love to reteam with co-star Shirley Maclaine onstage.
Veteran Maclaine loved playing the older woman to Black's Texa mortician in the film Bernie, and she has offered her services if the film made it as a musical.
Black tells WENN, "It's a Harold and Maude story but a twisted dark version and Shirley Maclaine is a legend in all of her glory.
"She was saying that she could definitely see that movie becoming a Broadway musical. I thought that would be an amazing thing to be on Broadway with Maclaine!
I would work together again with her in an instant because I thought we made some magic."
