It would appear that Heath Ledger is the hero on the set of the new Batman film, Ths Dark Knight, after saving Maggie Gyllenhaal when her skirt caught fire.Ledger, who plays villain The Joker in the follow-up movie, dashed to Gyllenhaal's aid when a special effects generator fell over, sending flames onto her skirt. Thanks to Ledger's quick reactions, Gyllenhaal was unharmed in the incident, reports American tabloid the National Enquirer. Ledger is just one of the new cast member on the Batman Begins sequel which is due out next summer.Ledger will return as Batman's old foe The Joker and this was subtly hinted at the end of the last film.Maggie Gyllenhaal is also new on set replacing Katie Holmes and Bruce Wayne's love interst Rachel Dawes.Christian Bale reprises his role as Batman. Also returning for the second film is director Christopher Nolan and actors Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Gary Oldman.
