An Indian court has rejected a lawsuit filed by Hollywood studio Warner Bros against the makers of a Bollywood film called Hari Puttar.Bosses at the movie giant took legal action against Indian-based studio Mirchi Movies, which is set to release a film entitled Hari Puttar - A Comedy of Terrors, which follows the life of a 10-year-old Indian boy who moves to Britain.Warner believes the name is too similar to the title character of hugely popular wizard franchise Harry Potter, and wanted the film banned worldwide. But bosses at Mirchi Movies insist their movie has no similarities to the lead character of J.K. Rowling's hit books. On Monday, the court ruled fans could easily distinguish Hari Puttar from Harry Potter. The decision means the Bollywood film can now be released in India.Mirchi Movies lawyer Pratibha Singh says, "The case has been dismissed. The court said that Warner Bros had known the title of the film since 2005 and had delayed bringing the case to court until the last moment."

The film is due to be released across India on 26 September.
