Halle Berry's accused stalker pleads not guilty to felony charges.
Richard A. Franco was arrested outside the actress' Hollywood Hills home in July after Berry spotted him trespassing on the property for the third time in as many days. He was carrying a key to the star's guesthouse, which he reportedly obtained by breaking into the house.
Franco appeared in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday to enter his plea. He was ordered to return for a pre-trial hearing on 28 November, reports Eonline.com.
If convicted, he faces up to three years behind bars for felony stalking, while the burglary charge carries a six-year sentence.
Berry, who was not present for the plea hearing, was granted a three-year restraining order against Franco shortly after his arrest.
