Students affected by the recent California wildfires have been helped out by Gwen Stefani, singer as she has set up a college scholarship fund for them.$160,000 (£80,000) is the sum of money generous Stefani has handed over in proceeds from her 30 October (07) concert in San Diego, California to fire relief charity the, San Diego Foundation. And now the star has founded the Gwen Stefani After-the-Fires Scholarship, which will help students who lost their homes and/or jobs in the blazes.She says, "When I heard about the devastation of the fires, at first I felt I should cancel my (San Diego) show out of respect. But then it occurred to me there might be a more useful solution."
