Due to her hectic lifestyle Gwen Stefani was terriefied that she would be a mother to her son Kingston.Stefani gave birth to Kingston - her first child with husband Gavin Rossdale - last year (06), and was pleasantly surprised she made a natural mother. The 37-year-old says, "My biggest fears about motherhood were, 'How would I fit him into my life? Would I be too self-obsessed to be able to care about him enough?"I have a really extraordinary life and I obviously have a lot of passion about the things that I do. So I didn't know if I could be selfless enough. But obviously I can. It's the most amazing thing that has happened to me."Stefani met Rossendale, Bush guitarist, in 1995 and the couple began a long distance relationship due to their work commitments. They married in 2002 in London but a second ceremony was held two weeks later in LA.The couple discovered that Rossendale had another child from a previous fling with Pearl Lowe, a model. Stefani has no relationship with the child, Daisy, but Rossendale is her godfather.
