Francis Ford Coppola honoured for career achievements
Francis Ford Coppola, film directing legend, will be celebrated for his career achievements at the upcoming Deauville American Film Festival in France.
The Godfather filmmaker will be honoured with fellow director Todd Solondz and actors Danny Glover, Naomi Watts and Shirley MacLaine.
Coppola will also take part in a special question and answer session at the French event, devoted to American cinema, reports trade paper Variety.
The festival starts in the seaside town of Deauville on 2 Sept.
