Elbow halt music festival set to help crushed fans
Elbow halted their gig at Spain's Benicassim music festival on Friday to prevent a crush in the crowd.
The band took to the stage to perfom several of the well-loved songs, but frontman Guy Garvey became concerned when he saw how cramped the fans were getting.
He said to the audience: "It's a bit of a squeeze down the front, make sure you're kind to everybody around you."
Garvey's comments did little to calm the enthusiastic fans and was forced to pause the set once more to urge fans to give each other some more room.
He said: "Wait a minute, everybody step back. Everyone's getting crushed down here. C'mon, step back, we've got a gig to do."
The group then continued with their nine song set.
