Edward Furlong is pleading poverty as he fights to keep his child and spousal support payments down.
The Terminator 2: Judgement Day star appeared in a family court in Los Angeles yesterday (12.1.11) and told the judge, “I'm completely broke”.
The hearing came a day after Furlong was arrested for violating a domestic restraining order granted to his ex-wife Rachael Kneeland, who is now demanding the star increases support payments to her and their four-year-old son.
The actor, who is a month behind in child support payments, urged the court not to up his financial responsibilities - because he can't afford them as it is, according to TMZ.com.
Representing himself, Furlong insisted the judge who ruled on the payments failed to take into account the monthly dues he owes his lawyer, publicist and business manager.
The case continues.
