Dizzee Rascal has said he will beoing on hiatus until 2012 so he can "recharge his batteries" after making a big impact on the music scene in the last few years.
The london rapper rose to fame in 2003, when he released his debut album "Boy In Da Corner" which he followed with three more albumes with his latest being the number one record Tongue N' Cheek which was released in 2009.
Dizzee, whos real name is Dylan Mills, has spoken about he will be taking time off to enjoy his personal life.
He tells Britain's Daily Star, "There won't be a new album from me for a while, until at least next year. I hope that doesn't upset fans who wanted to hear something from me by the end of 2011. But it feels like I've released albums almost back-to-back since Boy In Da Corner.
"I want to live life for a bit, kick back, see things, do other things and recharge my batteries. I'm always writing lyrics but as for recording it, that's on the back burner for now. "I've had three (U.K.) number ones over the past couple of years and I don't want to come down from there. When I come back with new tunes, they'll be massive, radio-friendly and totally worth waiting for."
