Diane Keaton underwent the surgery secretly
Diane Keaton once had an area of skin removed from her face after doctors diagnosed her with cancer.
The Oscar-winning actress has revealed she has a three-inch long scar on her cheek after surgeons removed cancerous cells from her face.
She has not elaborated on any further treatment she might have undergone, or when her cancer scare happened, but admits she feels "lucky" she survived.
Keaton tells The Sunday Times Magazine: "I had skin cancer right here. I was lucky. It was an interesting experience. They pulled (the skin back) a little. So I thought, that's what it feels like when you do something to your face, you don't feel yourself. It feels odd."
