Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have threatened to close their Twitter.com accounts if bosses of the social networking site enter into a proposed agreement to launch a reality TV show.
Hollywood trade magazine Daily Variety reports the San Francisco-based company has partnered with TV producers on an unscripted show, in which fans try to track down celebrities via the Internet - and the news has upset Tinseltown's leading tweeters.
In a post on Monday (25May09), actor Kutcher wrote, "It's all fun and games until somebody gets stalked."
And his wife added, "I hope this isn't true - if it is our Twitter time may come to a quick and sad end."
But Twitter.com co-founder Biz Stone insists there's "no official Twitter TV show" and the news relates to a "lightweight, non-exclusive, agreement" he has with TV producers.
Kutcher blasted his noisy neighbours on Twitter ealrier this year branding him a "d***weed" and a "f***ing jackass".
The 30-year-old actor became incensed when Bruce Goldsmith, who lives in the adjacent property to Ashton and his wife Demi Moore, began a noisy construction project at 7.30am, and has posted a foul-mouthed tirade against him online.
