David Blaine is planning a new TV special for 2012 that he hopes will turn into a global event.
The stunt magician, who has wowed fans worldwide with his televised feats of endurance, is planning his major even in May 2012.
The show will be filmed in America for ABC and Blaine then hopes to tour North America and Europe with the idea.
Speaking to fans via TinyChar on Friday, Blaine said: "This is as good as it gets... All magic, nothing else.
"It's better than anything that's ever been done, by me at least... It's the most original concept I've ever come up with. It's taken me four years to sort out."
Blaine's previous stunts included being trapped in a block of ice in New York's Times Square and dangled above the River Thames in glass box.
