Daniel Radcliffe has ruled out a romance with girls of his own age - because they're too high maintenance.
The young Brit insists his "serious" love interests have been in their 20s, often at least five years older than him.
He tells America's Parade magazine, "Girls my own age are not really an option.
"I find, generally speaking, they have to be entertained more than older girls do.
"Most of the girls I have had serious things with are generally... in their 20s."
The actor returns to the role of Harry Potter later this summer as the penultimate story in the boy wizard series Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is released.
But the actor will reprise this role on two more occasions as the final book Deathly Hallows has been split into two movies to be released in 2010 and 2011.
