Courtney Love is ready to hit the road. Sources tell me the rehabbed rocker wants to show off some of her new tunes. She's looking to pop up at small venues for unannounced performances.Love's sophomore solo album, How Dirty Girls Get Clean, was scheduled to be released last month. However she still hasn't finalized a deal with Custard, her new label, so a rescheduled date is still up in the air."There have been conversations of her very quietly doing some shows," a source close to Love tells me. "There's a lot of interest, especially in London."But it doesn't look like anything will be planned until the label deal is signed.Love hasn't performed live in about three years. Since then she has faced several legal battles, including those connected to her battle with drugs. Her new album is said to include collaborations with songwriter Linda Perry and Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan. Love's solo debut, America's Sweetheart, was released in February 2004, about two years after her band, Hole, announced its split.Marc Malkin E Entertainment
