The American rock chick Courtney Love is being taken to court for supposedly not paying $181,000 (£92,820) to a California rehab centre. The former Hole star was ordered into the Beau Monde treatment clinic by a judge after violating probation conditions. She arrived there in August 2005.Beau Monde officials claim Love paid $10,000 (£5,130) on entering the facility but have had to repeatedly ask the 42-year-old to settle her outstanding bill.The clinic has filed a suit against Love at Orange County Superior Court. It states Love stayed at Beau Monde for three months and adds: "Although demanded multiple times by plaintiff, orally and in writing, none of the balance stated has been paid."
