Arquettes Vow To Raise $1 Million In Two Weeks For Charity....

Actress Courteney Cox Arquette and husband David have given themselves two weeks to raise $1 million (£500,000) for charity, to raise funds for people with an incurable skin condition.The pair want to raise the cash for the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation, of which they are honorary board members, and have roped in their celebrity friends to help launch the charity into the media spotlight.Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) is a genetic condition which causes internal organs to blister and the skin to ulcerate and disintegrate simply by touch, leaving burn-like sores all over sufferers' bodies, which do not heal.Stars including Jennifer Aniston, Orlando Bloom and Kate Beckinsale have vowed to help the duo generate the money within a fortnight.Cox Arquette says, "Now is such an important time to put the spotlight on EB and ensure that research can continue at a fast pace. EB is very personal to me so I'm happy to be a part of this $1 million challenge".
