Actor Christian Bale was the big winner at the 2011 Golden Globes on Sunday night after landing Best Supporting Actor award for his role in The Fighter.
The British-born star, who played the drug addict boxing trainer in the film, was awarded the same honour at the Critics Choice Awards on Friday.
Bale beat Michael Douglas, Geoffrey Rush, Jeremy Renner and Andrew Garfield to win the Globe;s first award.
The first TV trophy of the evening went to Katey Sagal for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama honour for biker series Sons of Anarchy . It was the Married...With Children star's first Globe win.
