Golden Globe winner Christian Bale is still upset that he didn't get to do more of his own stunt work in The Fighter.
But his insurance company would not cover the star when putting himself in danger.
The Terminator: Salvation star insists that he was reading to do anything his stunt double did for the film. However he was always told that taking on falls and tumbles was too risky.
He was saddened when he was told to step back after one tense scene, so the stunt person could dive through a window.
He explains: "I just got up there and I went, 'I'm jumping'... I've jumped from three-storey buildings in my own life after bad parties and stuff.
"The insurance came around... and they were just begging me not to (do it)."
