Charlie Sheen is blaming TV executives for holding up production on his hit comedy Two And A Half Men, insisting he's "ready" to get back to work.

The star has been undergoing rehab treatment at home in Los Angeles since the end of January (11), when he was hospitalised to treat a hernia after allegedly indulging in a wild night of partying.

Bosses at U.S. network CBS suspended filming on the sitcom to allow Sheen time to overcome his personal problems, with a spokesperson admitting they are "profoundly concerned for his health and well-being".

But, during a phone interview with U.S. radio presenter Dan Patrick on Monday (14Feb11), Sheen insists he is back to full health and is ready for the cameras to start rolling again - and even turned up on set, only to find it deserted, reports TMZ.com.

Sheen says, "I went back to work and I was banging on the stage door, going, 'Hello?' and I don't know what happened, I guess they're closed. Nobody told me.

"I just figured I was supposed to go back to work because I'm ready... We're on forced hiatus.

They said, 'You get ready, we'll get ready', and I got ready and went back and... no one's there. I'm here and I'm ready. They're not. Bring it!"
