A man accused of stealing jewels from former TV Catwoman Julie Newmar has pleaded not guilty to a charge of grand theft.
Robert Ouriel was caught by Los Angeles police after attempting to sell the missing gems online.
The actress spotted the items and alerted the cops, which then lead to Ouriel's arrest on suspicion of swiping more than $25,000 (£15,600) worth of jewellery.
The burglary took place last year at the starlets home and saw her lose her most treasured possessions.
Ouriel appeared in court on Thursday and argued his innocence. He is former acquaintance of Newmar's.
If found guilty he faces up to three years behind bars if convicted of grand theft, reports TMZ.com.
