Outspoken studio boss Harvey Weinstein has vowed to shoot himself if Cate Blanchett fails to score an Oscar at next year's (08) awards show. The controversial movie mogul is convinced Blanchett's turn as a young Bob Dylan in forthcoming film I'm Not There will be a hit during the award season.He says, "I may be jumping the gun but if Cate Blanchett doesn't get nominated, I'll shoot myself." I'm Not There, directed by Todd Haynes, has seven different characters taking on different aspects of the musician's life and work.The film boasts an impressive line up, all playing Dylna, including Christian Bale, Richard Gere and Heath Ledger.Cate Blanchett may also havea second chance to bag an Oscar nomination as she reprises her role and Elizabeth I in Elizabeth: The Golden Age.Blanchett was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress in 1998 for her role as the formidable monarch - she lost out to Gwyneth Paltrow.
