Over a week after the death of socialite Casey Johnson, her young daughter still does not know about her mother’s death.
Johnson’s grieving family hasn’t told three year old Ava and are struggling to figure out how to explain to her about the loss.
Johnson’s sister Jaime has told People magazine that Ava has yet to be told of her mother’s passing.
She said that "My mum's trying to figure out the best way to explain it. She's teaching Ava about angels right now."
The child is currently being cared for in New York by adopted grandmother Sale, Johnson’s mother, and her husband Ahmad Rashad.
Casey Johnson, who died on January 4th, was the heiress to the Johnson and Johnson cosmetics firm and was engaged to reality TV star Tila Tequila.
Early reports say that there were no signs of trauma to the body, but no real cause has been found yet as toxicology reports are yet to be completed.
