James Cameron is set for a titanic honour- a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Sigourney Weaver will pay tribute to the director before he unveils the 2,396th star on Friday.
The Director shot to fame in 1984, when he wrote and directed The Terminator making him a household name.
He has gone on to become one of the greatest director in Hollywood, making big budget sci-fi films Aliens and Avatar, set for realease this Friday.
The self confessed workaholic is said to have worked 18 hour days, seven days a week for two years on the set of Avatar
Cameron's star can be found outside the historic Egyptian Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard.
