Justin Timberlake's Mum Desperate To Help Spears....

Troubled singer Britney Spears has a new addition to her growing army of concerned friends - former love Justin Timberlake's mum.Lynn Harless has been making frantic trips to Britney's Beverly Hills home, where the Toxic star is currently residing after losing custody of children Sean Preston, two, and one-year-old Jayden James to ex-husband Kevin Federline earlier this month (Oct07).Harless has remained close to Britney since her split from Timberlake in 2002, and is desperate to help the singer through a difficult time.She says, "I love Britney to death. She is a sweet girl. I just hate what she is going through."Meanwhile in related news singer Lance Bass has tried to get in touch with Britney Spears to lend her moral support during her child custody battle - but the pop superstar hasn't returned his calls.Bass was concerned about his old friend and neighbour, who used to date his 'N Sync bandmate Justin Timberlake, he decided to contact her.He tells American magazine GQ, "I tried. She's my neighbour in Beverly Hills.She lives next door. I tried to get in touch with her - I wanted to be that friend to help her.

"I don't think she's having any of her old friends anymore."
