After the news that Britney Spears has temporary lost her custody battle, the troubled singer has now applied for a Calafornian driver's license.Spears, 25 and a friend drove to a Department of Motor Vehicles office in Van Nuys, California, after handing two sons Sean Preston, two, and Jayden James, one, to Kevin Federline (ex husband) on Monday (01Oct07). There Britney filled out paperwork and took a written test. DMV regulationsdo not require a behind-the-wheel test. Last month (Sep07), the singer was charged with misdemeanour driving without a valid California license. According to the DMV, Spears had never been issued a California license, despite having homes in Los Angeles for years.December 2009.The state requires people to apply for a license within 10 days of residence.
