Brian Wilson has given his fans a hope of a comeback by hinting at the possibility of the Beach Boys performing a 50th anniversary gig later this year.
Wilson, one of the Beach Boys, formed the band in 1961, but from the 1980s onwards the band has been caught in a number of different legal disputes involving the bands name and the royalties for their songs. In fact several different groups have toured under the Beach Boys name.
Now Wilson has revealed he's "considering" reuniting with his fellow surviving founder members - Mike Love and Al Jardine.
He tells BBC 6 Music, "I'm considering it. I don't know yet, but I am considering it... Nothing's really holding me back. I just don't know if I want to be around those guys, you know? They're zany guys. They're crazy."
Wilson formed the band with Love, Jardine, and his brothers Dennis and Carl. Dennis Wilson drowned in 1983, and Carl Wilson died from cancer in 1998.
