Brad Pitt's baseball movie Moneyball is back on thanks in part to Capote director Bennett Miller.
The moviemaker is in talks to direct the Sony Pictures film, which Steven Soderbergh quit over script issues this summer (09).
The film, based on Michael Lewis' book of the same name, chronicles baseball team the Oakland A's general manager Billy Beane, who turned the lowly squad into winners thanks to an unorthodox method of hiring stars.Pitt has been part of the project for over a year.
Miller was Oscar nominated for his work on Capote.
The American actor has recently made it into the Who's Who 2010, he joins the likes of Al Pacino and Meryl Streep in the manual of society's leading figures.
Pitt's relationship with actress Angelina Jolie has faced a year of specualtion so some positive news will be welcomed.
