Brad Paisley is wowing fans on his current North American tour by playing in front of a backdrop screening two short films - both created by the country singer himself. Paisley wanted to do something extra special for his Bonfires & Amplifiers road trip, so made a silent western and a cartoon starring himself as a race-car driver. The musician turned filmmaker after deciding to make the most of his time on his tour bus. He says, "I spend a lot of time travelling, and I did a lot of this (making movies) on the road."Paisley released his debut album Who Need Pictures in 1999 which to date has gone platinum and entered the U.S country charts at number thirteen.His second album Part II reached number three two years later. It wasn't until he released Mud On The Trees in 2003 that he scored his first number one album. The record also did well in the U.S Billboards reaching number eight.His follow up Time Well Wasted experienced similar sucess reaching number one in the country charts and number three on the Billboards.
The record went on to win the Country Music Association award for Best Album.
