Bob Hoskins and Robert Zemeckis Runite For A Christmas Carol

Who Framed Roger Rabbit duo Bob Hoskins and Robert Zemeckis will reunite for a new version of A Christmas Carol. The director has cast Jim Carrey as Ebenezer Scrooge and Hoskins will play Mr. Fezziwig, reports Moviehole.net. Hoskins says, "(Zemeckis) doing in that way he did Polar Express. You stand in a box with that funny suit on and it reads everything you do...Am I going to do it? Of course I am!" In 1988 $70 million Who Framed rofer Rabbit became one of the most expensive films to date it proved to be a sound investment grossing $150 million at the box office.Who Framed Raoger Rabbit was a land mark movie as it blended animation with live action sequences. But during the late eighties the animation movies were doing poorly at the box office.The release of this film re-ignited the public's love of animation cinema and paved the way for future Walt Disney releases and ultimatley the Pixar animations almost a decade later.
