Billy Zane is yearning to become a father - but has no plans to give up his bachelor lifestyle and settle down.
The star has been single since splitting from his fiancee, British model/actress Kelly Brook, last year (08), but he admits kids are on his mind - and he predicts parenthood will come sooner rather than later.
He tells BlogTalkRadio, "I’m single right now - and kind of loving it. I hear the patter of little feet.
"But I foresee that - I sense it, I feel it, I feel it coming. It’s just a sense that you get. I think I’m ready for fatherhood.
"But I’m not out there hunting for my bride - as of yet."
Zane met british beauty kelly Brook when they wroked together on movie Survival Island, to whom he became engaged.
However the pair split in April 2008 only to get back together. They split for goo in August that same year.
