Boy band Backstreet Boys are making a return to the pop charts after a two year hiatus. The group are currently recording their sixth studio album - their first since the departure of Kevin Richardson last year (06).The Everybody (Backstreet's Back) hitmakers' last disc Never Gone reached number three in the U.S. album charts in 2005.A spokesperson tells MTV.com that new album will hit stores on Hallowe'en.The band were put together by in trouble music mougel Lou Pearlman who wanted to create his own boyband after seeing the sucess of New Kids On The Block.While The Backstreet Boys, made up of Nick Carter, AJ McLean, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson, had little sucess in America their self entitled debut album went gold within weeks throughout Europe.It wasn't until 1997 and the released an selfentitled album collecting songs from their international 1995 album and the new release Backstreet's Back. It sold 14 million copie in the U.S

Since then the group have gon on to release Millenium which sold 30 million copies worldwide and Black and Blue which sold 5 million copies worldwide in its first week.
