Ashley Judd Suffers Appendicitis While Shooting In A Hospital....

Ashley Judd survived a potentially fatal bout of appendicitis because she was filming in a hospital when she fell ill.The actress was shooting new movie Helen in Vancouver, Canada when an acute attack of the illness led to a collapse on set at Ridge Meadows Hospital on 25 November (07).Judd was immediately admitted to the same medical centre and underwent emergency surgery to remove her diseased appendix.A source tells the National Enquirer, "Luckily, the cast and crew were filming at a real hospital, so when paramedics arrived, they simply put Ashley on a stretcher and wheeled her into an operating room nearby".While Judd recovers, production on Helen has been halted.Jerry Seinfeld Sets His Sights On The London Stage

American comedian Jerry Seinfeld is considering abandoning his native New York, to relaunch a stand-up career in London.The Seinfeld star is currently in the U.K. promoting his animated movie Bee Movie, and he claims to have been inspired by the British capital, where he last took to the stage in 1998.The 53-year-old funnyman told London radio station Heart FM he was thinking hard about returning to the stage, and trying out his act on English audiences.

Seinfeld said, "I would love to. Since I've been here I've been talking of a lot of people about it. I think it's a great idea. I'm going to definitely look into it.

"The audiences here are great and I haven't been here for a long time. I think it might be fun".

Seinfeld isn't the only Bee Movie star with his sights on the London stage - Chris Rock, who lends his voice to mosquito Mooseblood in the cartoon caper, is due to perform a series of sold-out stand up shows in Britain in January (08).
