Hollywood star Alicia Silverstone proves she would rather strip off than eat meat after fronting a pro-vegetarianism campaign.The actress appears naked in new print and television advertisements for animal rights campaigners People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (Peta).In the TV commercial, Silverstone is seen emerging from a swimming pool while discussing the benefits of a meat-free diet.She says, "I wasn't always a vegetarian, but I've always loved animals.Physically, the effect has been amazing."There's nothing in the world that's changed me as much as this. I feel so much better and have so much more energy."Meanwhile in further news the sexy Batman & Robin star won't be baring all in Houston, Texas anytime soon - her revealing new People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals (Peta) TV ad has been pulled.A local cable provider planned to launch the new commercial, in which the healthy actress coos about vegetarianism, on Wednesday (19Sep07) but the ad was cancelled.

Comcast Cable bosses banned the spot because Silverstone is naked, and they don't want to upset prudish viewers in Texas.

Peta chose to debut Silverstone's new ad in Texas because the States' leading cities "repeatedly rank among the least healthy in America".

The captivating commercial was directed by Dave Meyers, who has directed more than 180 music videos, including rapper Missy Elliott's Work It and Lose Control promos.
