Alicia Keys has asked her fans to show their support for an AIDS protest in New York on Wednesday.
The popular singer has long been an advocate for AIDs awareness and spoke at a United Nations event on tuesday, before a discussion between world leaders which will set up their plans for fighting AIDs globally over the next decade.
Keys used twitter to rally her fans to join the March to End AIDs on Wednesday.
The protest started at Manhattan's Bryant Park and ended outside the U.N. headquarters, where the General Assembly meeting was due to take place.
