Adrian Pasdar has been charged with driving under the influence (DUI) after he was arrested by police last month (Jan10).
The 44-year-old actor, who is married to Dixie Chicks singer Natalie Maines, was pulled over by cops in the early hours of 27 January (10) after he was allegedly clocked driving over 90 miles-an-hour (144.8 kilometres-an-hour) on a freeway in Los Angeles.
He was arrested after allegedly refusing a breathalyzer test, and held on $15,000 (£9,375) bail.
And now Pasdar has been officially charged, according to TMZ.com.
He faces up to six months in jail and a $1,000 (£625) fine if convicted. The star is due back in court on Wednesday (24Feb10).
Pasdar shot to fame playing Nathan Petrelli in hit American television show Heroes.
He is back on the small screen this year as he voices the character of Captain America in movie Black Panther.
