10CC set cut short at Hop Farm festival

10CC's set at a UK music festival was cut short on Friday after a power cut plunged the event into silence.

The rockers were performing their closing number, Rubber Bullets, for thousands of fans at the Hop Farm event in Kent, England, when the electricity went out.

The sound system went back on briefly before cutting out again, according to KentOnline.co.uk publication.

Bug screens at the event also stopped functioning, however speakers were fixed before Death Cab for Cutie later took to the stage.

Up to 30,000 fans were expected at the three-day bash, which also features The Eagles, Morriseey, Tinie Tempah and Lou Reed. Pop legend Prince closed the event on Sunday.
