Katherine Jenkins’ involvement in Viva La Diva follows a successful rise to public recognition from her discovery aged 12 as BBC Welsh Choir Girl of the Year. The development of her captivating voice has resulted in performances at major international venues such as the Sydney Opera House and four acclaimed albums, each of which entered classical charts at number one. A recipient of two Album of the Year awards at the Classical Brit Awards and brand ambassador for luxury accessories designer Mont Blanc, 26 year old Katherine has proven her numerous other talents in Viva La Diva, demonstrating her flair for dance alongside her celebrated operatic ability.

Darcey Bussell’s participation in the Viva La Diva show sees her talents displayed in a variety of ways, not necessarily expected of the nation’s best loved ballet dancer. Darcey’s appointment as Prima Ballerina at the age of 20 after her training at the Royal Ballet School is a testament to her extraordinary talent and exceptional technique. Having danced in major ballets around the world, Darcey’s ability to delight audiences with her unparalleled grace and passion was recognised with the honour of Commander of the British Empire in 2006. Following her retirement in 2007 after 20 years at The Royal Ballet, Darcey lights up the stage in Viva La Diva.

The effortless charm of Katherine and Darcey’s partnership is one which has been captured forever on the DVD recording of Viva La Diva, and is a sure-fire hit to get everybody’s toes tapping and bodies moving.
