Adapted from the popular Marvel comic, former FBI agent turned vigilante The Punisher pulls no punches in this action-packed sequel starring hard man actor Ray Stevenson (Outpost, TV’s Rome) and British heart throb and star of TV’s The Wire Dominic West (Hannibal Rising).
Punisher: War Zone is out to buy on Blu-ray, DVD and UMDTM Video on 22 June, 2009 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
Also starring Colin Salmon (AvP, The World is Not Enough) and Julie Benz (Rambo, Dexter), Punisher: War Zone sees the anti-hero waging his one man war on the world of organized crime and the over-eager mob boss Billy Russoti.
After Russoti is left horribly disfigured by Castle, he sets out for vengeance under his new alias: Jigsaw. With the ‘Punisher Task Force’ hot on his trail and the FBI unable to take Jigsaw in, Frank must stand up to the formidable army that Jigsaw has recruited before more of his evil deeds go unpunished.
